HISTORY AT A GLANCE

1971: Byers Engineering Co. is formed to focus on providing engineering services to telecommunication companies and utilities.

1998: The utility locate services of Byers Engineering Co. is spun-off to form UtiliQuest.

1998-2002: UtiliQuest announces the acquisition of key locating entities including, the locating division of Denver-based Kelly Cable Corporation, and California based Undergorund Technology Inc (UTI), giving UtiliQuest an expanded national presence.

2003: Dycom Industries, Inc. announces the acquisition of UtiliQuest.
